D. Berlijn, LL M. (Danny) studied law at Rotterdam Erasmus University and has been working for Zwartbol Advocaten since 2000. Danny is mainly involved in national and international contract law, with an emphasis on (international) shipbuilding contracts, take-overs, purchase and sales agreements and general terms and conditions. He also advises entrepreneurs in the most frequently occurring problems (corporate law in a broad sense). If required, he will not hesitate to commence proceedings. Danny is very experienced at conducting proceedings in court, in (technical) arbitration, in interlocutory proceedings, etc.

In addition to the regional entrepreneurs, Danny has assisted various shipbuilding yards and suppliers in the maritime industry in recent years. Danny particularly acts on behalf of medium sized and large national companies and is usually involved in drawing up and assessing contracts and providing advice with regard to (potential) disputes. His practical and direct approach is highly appreciated.
In 2008 he completed, cum laude, the specialised Grotius course "National and International Contracting". Danny speaks and writes English fluently.

Besides being a lawyer, Danny is a member of the Dutch Round Table service club and the V.V. Heerjansdam Business club. Danny's biggest passion is wine.
