P.M.D. Weijers, LL M. (Pieter) studied law at Rotterdam Erasmus University and graduated in 1998. Since then, Pieter has been working as a lawyer at Zwartbol Advocaten. He is mainly involved with employment law and mainly acts on behalf of employers. Pieter successfully completed the postgraduate course on Employment Law (PALA). In addition, Pieter is involved with administrative law, acting on behalf of several city councils and assists entrepreneurs with issues pertaining to administrative law. Pieter frequently conducts legal proceedings at various national subdistrict courts and at the various administrative law sections of the court and, needless to say at the Administrative Jurisdiction Department of the Council of State in matters concerning administrative law.

Pieter is a member of the Rotterdam Employment Lawyers Association (VRAA), the Dutch Employment Lawyers Association (VAAN), the Association for Employment Law (VVA), as well as the Lekstreek Business Entrepreneurs Association and the VRCL Reformational Business Association.

Besides being a lawyer, Pieter is socially active and holds several other functions in education and politics.
